The past two months of student teaching have been some of the most thrilling, chaotic, and wonderful experiences I've ever had. The sophomores are eccentric but fun to work with and the seniors are all incredibly strong performers! That's been proven to me time-and-time again this past week due to the senior show, Museum by Tina Howe, going up. I got to work as the assistant director, helping students develop their characters and focus on objectives while delivering their lines. This was my first time getting to AD a show and I cannot wait for the rest of the opportunities I'll get being working on the production team of a show. But these kids... oh my god they created something special out of one of the most absurd pieces of theatre I've ever experienced and I am so proud of the work they've put on. I have been incredibly fortunate to work on some really cool things with truly fantastic students but working with this senior class has filled me with so much pride and joy. Here's to the rest of the year with them!
P.S. - shoutout Katie Knoblock, Caitlin Geisser, Karen Murdock, and Zach Bates for being a wonderful production team
